Canton Township Firm Gets Lightweighting Deal

CANTON TWP. — Integral Technologies Inc. (OTC: ITKG) said Thursday that it has a contract to supply engineering and design services, materials and finished products to East Penn Manufacturing, a Lyon Station, Pa. battery and wire products manufacturer.

Integral, a subsidiary of ElectriPlast Corp., has developed ElectriPlast, a non-corrosive, electrically conductive resin-based material. ElectriPlast’s properties allow it to be molded into any of the infinite shapes and sizes associated with plastics, rubbers and other polymers, while reducing conductive component weight by 40 to 60 percent.

East Penn operates the world’s largest single-site lead-acid battery manufacturing plant. It also provides wire and cabling for the automotive, marine, telecommunications and uninterruptible power supply markets. More about East Penn at www.dekabatteries.com.
