SOUTHFIELD — The Engineering Society of Detroit will host its Fall Engineering and Technology Job Fair 2014 Monday, Nov. 10 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave. in Novi.
Organizations that have been struggling to find the right engineering, science and technology talent can meet highly qualified candidates at this event, hailed as the region’s premier recruitment event for students, engineers, trained technicians and allied professionals.
Also, each job fair exhibitor will receive one free posting on the ESD Job Bank, the foremost electronic recruitment resource in the industry. Registrations received by Oct. 10 qualify for Early Bird Registration and a second Job Bank posting. That’s a value of more than $500.
Sponsors of the event include Blue Cross, Blue Shield, and Blue Care Network of Michigan; Citizens Insurance; Hartland Insurance Group Inc.; Credit Union One; and Crain’s Detroit Business.
The recruitment booth package, which is $395 for ESD members and $495 for non-members, includes an eight-by-10-foot exhibit space with a six-foot skirted and draped display table and two chairs; online promotion at the ESD website, www.esd.org; advertising to all Michigan colleges and universities within a 150-mile radius of Detroit; free wireless internet at each booth; food and beverage certificates for up to five representatives per booth; a company listing and desired areas of interest in the onsite guide provided to all attendees; and more.
