DEARBORN — FordDirect, a joint venture between Ford Motor Co. and its dealers, has named Raj Singh as chief information officer, a new position on FordDirect’s executive team.
As CIO, Singh oversees a department of professionals and more than 50 technology providers and vendors, and is responsible for technology compliance, infrastructure management, data security and technical innovation at FordDirect.
With more than 20 years of experience, Singh has a deep history of
identifying, designing and implementing business processes that increase efficiencies while fulfilling corporate and regulatory requirements.
Prior to joining FordDirect, Singh was most recently the executive director of IT at Consumers Energy, where he led a portfolio of more than 200 applications and over 400 global technology resources including vendor partner resources.
Singh holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and an MBA from Michigan State University and a master’s degree in program management from George Washington University. He is also Project Management Professional-certified (PMP), SAP COE-certified, and a Six Sigma Green Belt.
