SOUTHFIELD — The Michigan Cyber Awareness Luncheon Conference Series will resume June 25 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.
The series meetings serve as a follow up to the sold-out Michigan Cyber Summit 2013 hosted last fall by Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder.
The meetings provide updates to the Michigan Cyber Initiative designed for Michigan citizens, education, business and industry. Presentations will focus on a comprehensive, forward-looking blueprint to enhance safety and allow for Michigan to reap the economic benefits of the growing cyber security industry.
The agenda for each luncheon will provide attendees with updates on the latest topics in today’s cyber security industry.
Future Michigan Cyber Awareness Series events are scheduled for Aug. 12 at the Grand Traverse Resort near Traverse City and Sept. 15 at Western Michigan University’s Fetzer Center in Kalamazoo.
The cost to attend the luncheons is $25, with a discount price of $20 for students or members of ISSA, InfraGard, the West Michigan Cyber Security Consortium, ISAC, Mi-ISAC, Mi-GMIS
and WC4.
